Long Live Romance

An english professor once wrote on the chalkboard this phrase: “woman without her man is nothing” and asked his students to add punctuation and proper capital letters.

The boys wrote: “Woman, without her man, is nothing.“
The girls wrote: “Woman! Without her, man is nothing!“

My answer lies in this picture:

What I mean is that without the right attitude neither the boys nor the girls will have a successful relationship. Such a competitive edge is bound to damage the bonds between the two, who will soon start bitching about who has the best skills or, worse yet, to whom relational merits belong.
To me, relationship has always revolved around balance, understanding, romance and love.
Sometimes this cannot be attained (after all, different people can’t last long together) but a loving forgiveness or a romantic oblivion could surely help.
Yet somehow people keeps on ramming the wrong door…
And eventually they break up.

Boldly going nowhere

These days are pretty full of birthdays parties (three in only two days!) and social life in general.

Meanwhile strange questions arise and some of them are even stranger.

Why do people think I deserve more?

On Living
